Dear Ms Smitha,
Absolutely ,good point, ,I concur with you, there is no doubt, that SDG
3-Health is fundamental, Health is Weath after all, how can we be expected
to" Build Back Better", when our health/health system suffers. However the
respective SDG's which is under review for 2022 are the SDG's which Co
chair Lany has kindly shared which us, not only within this context (APFSD)
but also HLPF 2022. As we know SDG's are not a standalone goal but
interconnected to all other SDG's, hence SDG 3-Health must be embedded to
the respective 5 SDG's under review for this year. Therefore it requires us
to be strategic about the way in which we ensure SDG 3 is pivotal across
all 5 SDGs in our approach and presentation during upcoming 9th APFSD. It
is only logical for sustainability.
Best regards,
Deepti
