FYI

Good Morning!

I hope you are well. It's lovely to meet you virtually!

I wanted to reach out to share about the launch of All Children Reading: A Grand Challenge for Development's new UnrestrICTed Challenge<mailto:https://allchildrenreading.org/competition/unrestricted-challenge/>, which seeks ICT for education solutions grounded in Universal Design for Learning for children with disabilities in low-resource contexts. With the release of the 2020 GEM report on inclusive education this week, and COVID-19 continuing to disrupt the education of children, particularly the most vulnerable, around the world, this competition could not be more timely.

The Pacific is one of our target regions for the competition, so your efforts in promoting and participating in the challenge are important to us. As you'll see in the attached infographic, there are two ways to participate in the UnrestrICTed Challenge: Either by submitting an expression of interest with a scalable, evidence-based ICT solution, or by registering as a technical or contextual expert to participate in the co-design process. Local organizations, particularly Disabled Persons Organizations (DPOs), are highly encouraged to participate.

We've created a digital media kit to promote the competition launch, and we'd love if you'd use the content and images in the kit to share the news about the competition with your organizational and personal digital media and WhatsApp channels. You can access the kit here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ZogU18WKhf32TEdYnIriqISO3VuG58Aa?usp=sharing

Please let me know if you have any questions or have any trouble accessing the digital media kit. Thanks in advance for your help!

Best,
