Bula D.o Laisa
On behalf of Co-Chairs Lany and myself Latoa and the Board of PDF, I extend our thanks and appreciation to the operations team, in particular the PERU team and the Secretariat staff for the efforts over the recent few days to respond to the identified needs of our DPOs in the emmidiate and outreach areas beyond Suva and Fiji. Mindful that the full impact is still being assessed, I hope those who are suffering, from the loss and damage will get the necessary support to restore their livelihoods and appropriate shelter, especially over the X-mas period towards a 2021 that is brighter full of opportunities to build back better to overcome the the threat of the Covid 19 Pandemic and the climate related crisis.
I look forward to working with the CEO , and all the Secretariat team , our partners to forge greater outcomes under our Strategic Plan 2021-2025.
Take care , and have a blessed festive season.

Latoa Halatau-Talagi
Co-Chair
