Dear Laisa,

Everyone at Rights & Inclusion Australia are deeply saddened by Joshco's passing, and wish to send our condolences to you and your colleagues at PDF and to Joshco's family. Michael Sadhu and I, who were present at the recent conference in Nadi, are particularly upset, having previously only known Joshco through the virtual medium of Zoom, and having enjoyed the opportunity to speak with him on several occasions in person at the conference. And we were looking forward to many many more conversations in the future.

We wish everyone at PDF and in the Region all the best and we will be thinking of you during this difficult time.

Dear PDF Members, Colleagues, Friends & Family,

It is with a very heavy heart that I share with you the passing of our dear colleague, champion, advocate, and leader in the Disability Community in the Pacific and globally, Mr. Joscho Edward Wakaniyasi.

Joscho, was called to be with the Lord, his Maker on Saturday night 18th of March 2023 at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva after a short illness.

For those of us who are based in Suva and in Fiji, PDF will share the funeral arrangement shortly.
