Bula All,
On behalf of Satish Mishra, technical manager of disability and rehabilitation at the WHO Regional Office for Europe, I am sending you WHO Euro’s COVID-19 rehabilitation support materials. Our key document; “Support for rehabilitation self-management after COVID-19-related illness” suggests basic exercises and advice for those who have been severely unwell due to the virus, whether hospitalized or not, to assist them in regaining their previous levels of function, manage symptoms and getting back into their normal daily activities. The leaflet is easy to read and rich in illustrations. It was published by our office last summer, and, such is its popularity and usefulness, after COVID-19 clinical management, this document is the 2nd most downloaded guidance document from the WHO EURO website. It has been translated in over 25 languages and downloaded over 120,000 times. The leaflet is also available in posters (see link below) and animated videos on each of the topics (coming in the next couple of weeks). Our office has also been delivering technical briefings and webinars on rehabilitation post COVID-19 illness to countries and organizations as requested.

The document coverings the following topics that people may be experiencing problems with after COVID-19:

  *   Exercises after illness
  *   Managing problem of voice
  * Managing eating, drinking and swallowing
  * Managing problem with attention, thinking clearly and thinking
  *   Managing breathlessness
  * Managing activities of daily living

As mentioned, 6 short animations on each of these topics in the above document are coming soon
