<p class="MsoNormal">As we look at building back better following COVID-19, we need to ensure that the rights of persons of disabilities are not overlooked. This year’s theme for International Day of Persons with Disabilities ties in with this envisioned goal.

<p class="MsoNormal"><b>The theme for 2021 International Day for Persons with Disabilities is : “Leadership and participation of persons with disabilities toward an inclusive, accessible and sustainable post-COVID-19 world.”<o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">In the words of the Secretary General of the United Nations, Mr. António Guterres we must ensure the aspirations and rights of persons with disabilities are included and accounted for in a -inclusive, accessible and sustainable post COVID-19
world. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">In saying this, the Pacific Disability Forum would like to seek your assistance in sharing stories, pictures and excerpts for a build up to the main event in December.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We are seeking either of the following:<o:p></o:p></p>
