[Opd-officemanagers] 📢 Call for submissions towards TCI's #WhatWENeed 2023 campaign!

[Pacific Disability]

Dear members,

Greetings from TCI Secretariat!

TCI is pleased to launch its annual advocacy campaign:

       #WhatWENeed 2023 campaign: We have a voice!!

TCI has been running this campaign since 2018 to challenge and correct the medical oppression against us, persons with psychosocial disabilities, and reclaim World Mental Health Day and month by filling it with our voices!

The campaign is open to all our members, networks and partners and provides a platform to present their work and advocacy to a wider global audience. The campaign starts from October 6, 2023, and runs till December 22, 2023.

Specific to this year’s thematics are the following:
1. De-institutionalization
2. Community Inclusion
3. Lived experiences of persons with intersectional and neurodiverse identities
 4. Other thematics:
     - Access to justice
     - Climate change
     - Psychosocial disability assessment tools
     - Sexual and reproductive rights
     - Political participation
     - Ways of well-being and healing

We are also attaching a concept note with detailed information on the campaign and the thematics being covered. We have tried to provide some examples of what you can submit as a part of the campaign. But please do feel free to write to us if you have any additional ideas or thoughts on making submissions towards the campaign.
