From the International Disability Alliance:

We would like to invite your Organisation to be a part of the Humanitarian Awareness Sessions organized by the Alliance in partnership with the Pacific Disability Forum.

This is an important 2 session training where we will be discussing disability inclusion in the Humanitarian setting.

It is also a chance for the OPDs to speak on their lived experiences as well as lessons learnt.

The 1st Session will be held this Friday from 1.00 – 3.30pm Fiji Time.

IDA, UNICEF, and CBM Global, through the Reference Group on Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in Humanitarian Action (DRG)<https://www.internationaldisabilityalliance.org/drg>, are inviting you to a series of webinars titled "DRG OPD awareness sessions".

DRG is a platform fostering cooperation between the UN, International Agencies, NGOs, and organizations of persons with disabilities in promoting disability-inclusive humanitarian response, including, but not limited to, supporting the development, dissemination, and implementation of key guidance materials, including the Inter-Agency Steering Committee (IASC) Guidelines.

These webinars comprise of two (2) sessions per region and aims at introducing humanitarian frameworks and understanding OPDs entry points to humanitarian action.

1.     First session on Friday 19th May from 1:00pm to 3:30pm (Fiji time) / 09:00am to 11:30pm (Philippines time) / 09:00pm to 11:30am (New York time)
