Further to my email below, we would like to advise that an extension has been granted for the call for application to attend the regional CSO Forum. 

The deadline has been extended to Friday 9 February, 5 pm Fiji time. Reattaching the application form and guidelines for ease of reference. 

Please note the following:

·         For new applicants (has never participated at the event) outside of Fiji, kindly send your passport page together with your application. This is to minimize time for our Travel team to book and finalize your travel should your application is successful. Others that have participated previously we do have your passport details. 

·         All applications should include a concept note ( 2 pager max) to be considered for selection, and to enable you run country consultation prior to attending the CSO Forum. In the interim we encourage you to work with your national networks and partners to start conversations around key issues to take to FEMM and to the Forum Leaders. 

·         Time is of the essence and we would really appreciate your urgent attention to this call.

We are pleased to announce the call for applications to participate at the Regional Civil Society Forum, 2018. Please note this year, the event has been moved forward to March 20th -22nd. 

Please see the following documents (attached) for more information and details and to assist in your submission.

Note, the  Regional CSO Forum will serve as a preparatory event for the CSO Engagement with Leaders in Nauru later in September, and also in preparation for the Forum Economic Ministers Meeting in April in Palau.  The CSO Forum will be an opportunity and basis to discuss, identify and prioritize regional issues for consideration by the Forum Leaders in their annual Retreat, and Forum Economic Ministers in their meeting in Palau. Participants at the CSO Forum will also select their representatives to both the Leaders and Ministers meetings. 

To complete the Application Form, please read the Application Guidelines carefully. Incomplete applications will not be considered, ensure all necessary information is provided. All applications has to be submitted via this email: info.cso at forumsec.org and copied only to me. 

Do not hesitate to contact me for any clarification and if you have any questions. The deadline for submission is 2nd February 2018. Late applications will not be considered.
